PowerDMS Video Tour

The PowerDMS account executives were looking for a way to demonstrate the application without having to spend time doing a live, one-on-one product demonstration, which took a lot of time. I came up with the idea to create a video tour website - displaying short videos of our features to give the prospect the opportunity to guide themselves to learn more about the product through video.

I started the process of identifying what features we needed to highlight by interviewing each account executive. One of the biggest challenges was to create a narrative while demonstrating the software. Working collaboratively with the team, we came to an agreement on the story we wanted to tell. The last thing we wanted was a long list of features in a video. The direction we went was starting each video with a particular pain-point related to document management and how PowerDMS could solve it.


PowerDMS Video Tour generated an average of 46 leads a week, and was responsible for over $250K in revenue generated in 12 months.
